Community Youth Development (CYD) Volunteers work with their host communities to help young people around the world. They work on capacity building with their counterparts, community projects, alliances with other sector Volunteers, self-esteem and leadership development activities, international organizations like Scouts, health education, HIV/AIDS education and awareness, life skills development, community organizing, organizational development, training of youth development workers, stay-in-school programs and overall, making a difference in the lives of children and their community.
